Spring Break Part 3...Gainesville Butterfly House

On our way south, we stopped at the UF Butterfly House in Gainesville, FL.

My cousin Jennie and her two sons met us there.  Her older son is a little younger than Isaiah, and her newest son is a week younger than Riley.

We had a fabulous time.  The butterflies were EVERYWHERE.

They liked Grampa the best.
(I think it is because he was holding Isaiah for awhile and then became very sticky!!!)

A Long Overdue Visit!!!

On Monday, we were blessed to be able to visit with Teresa and her daughter Macayla.

Teresa helped out with my girl scout troup (Troop 612...the Southern Belles!!!) when I was growing up.  Then she was my swim coach.  Then I was her assistant coach.

She took me to Disney World my freshman year at college.

She helped on various projects as we were helping build my parent's house.

Then they moved to Japan..and Guam...and finally Virginia Beach.

We were SO happy to be able to visit with them...even if it was WAY TOO SHORT!!!

Dad came up...and Teresa and Macayla donated hair to Locks of Love.

In the morning...they took off again.  We were the first stop in a cross-country road trip!

We got postcards from all over.  It was a special treat!!!

(She's alot shorter than I remember...hummm!)

Easter Sunday

We had Easter morning here at the house.  Then Grams & Grandap and Michelle and her family came up for Easter service.

Spencer gave a talk on the Atonement.  I played a cello piece for the intermediate music.

Then home for some yummy dinner and playtime.

Spring Break Part 2...Helping(?) and Boating and a Few Eggs

We started off the day hanging around the house, waiting for the sun to wake up and warm things up a little.

Grandpa worked on the zip-line.  The girls helped (?) Grams with the flowers.

Then out to the lake for some boating.

And finally, dyeing some eggs for the Easter bunny.

Helping(?):

Boating:

We had the ropes a little too short!
Makenzie and Nate got a shower!!!

Grams laid Riley down and covered her with one towel.
Everytime Riley moved her hand or foot and stuck it out, Isabelle would cover it up with another towel!

And finally...dyeing some Easter eggs.

Spring Break Part 1...Swimming and the Fair

My sister's kids has their spring break during the first week of April.  We decided to take a break ourselves and join them.  It was SO much fun!

We started Spring Break with a dip in the pool!

Then we headed to the Clay County Fair.  We looked at all the animals.

Then we headed to the art exhibit.  Grandpa entered a picture Grams took...and it WON 1st place in the amiture class.  It almost won the entire division!!!

Then...off to the rides!  It was a LONG night, but so much fun!!!

And finally...the hall of mirrors.

Michelle took Isaiah through to "help" him.
He kept running into walls and mirrors.
Michelle would even show him the way...and SMACK...another wall.

We were laughing SO hard.  Everyone around us was cracking up.

I wish I had the video rolling.  It was priceless!!!

Another Visitor

As we were leaving for the library, we had a visitor.  I guess it wanted to go to storytime too!
