Riley's Blessing

The first Sunday in March, we were able to bless our newest daughter.

Spencer performed the blessing with the members of our bishopric completing the circle (Bishop Wilson, Brother Richardson, and Brother VanTassell).  It was a BEAUTIFUL blessing.
~~knowledge & wisdom, especially pertaining to the gospel
~~health & strength
~~married in the temple & able to bring your family with you into the eternities
~~obedient to your parents (YES!) AND find joy in doing so!!!
~~learn from your sisters...take good from them and share it with others

My parent were able to drive up for the ceremony, and Spencer's dad fly in from Tennessee.

My mom made Riley's blessing gown.  WOW!!!  It was perfectly beautiful.

After church, we took a bunch of family pictures.  The gnats didn't want to be left out...so we were running from spot to spot...trying to out-run the gnats.  Once the kids had had enough, we took a few pictures inside.

Isabelle's Birthday Party

My sister is now stationed at Fort Bragg, NC.  That makes them drivable!!!  Grams and Grandpa picked up Makenzie and Hailey and drove up to NC for Isabelle's 5th Birthday Party.  It was held at the bowling alley.  The girls had SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!

Jacksonville Zoo Trip

We met Grams and Grandpa at the Jacksonville Zoo.

They have a temorary "Butterfly Hollow" exhibit set up.  It is a butterfly house with lots and lots of fairy houses.  Hailey was VERY disappointed that she couldn't see any real fairies.  Makenzie did an excellent job taking pictures of the butterflies and fairy houses.

In the South America Exhibit, we watched the black jaguar walk around.  Then it climbed on the log over the water and settled down for a snooze.  It was so much fun to watch.  Isaiah kept turning to us and signing 'CAT' with lots of emphasis!

A caterpillar landed on Hailey and tagged along with us for awhile.

We decided to pet the stingrays this trip. Isaiah LOVED splashing in the water. Makenzie and Hailey were both able to pet several stingrays. We all ended up super wet, so it was good that it was a hot day!

And we ended our trip with a ride on the carosol...carosal...merry-go-round!
